43 Places should make "Worth Visiting" and "Willing to help" the default choice

Should not do this

I agree with the logic to encourage one to think. However, the feed is sometimes temperamental, especially on allconsuming when working with lists. For example, when I ticked off Slaughterhouse 5, my feed shows I rated it “Not worth consuming.” Yet allconsuming shows it as properly “Worth Consuming”

Should not do this 3 cheers

Much of what we’ve built is designed around intention. That is, you have to answer questions like “Where do you want to go?” and “What do you want to do with your life?”. I most often click “worth it” and “willing to answer questions” but I love that I have to think that everytime I mark a place off my list.

So, I hear ya—that it’s easier if the defaults were set to accomodate this but I think the intention of considering your vote in both instances is worth that tiny bit of effort.

No opinion

The reasoning behind this is that personally I think 75% of places are worth visiting, and 100% of the time I’m willing to help people if they have a question (if I have an answer).
