I pull my 43places events into Google calendar. Unfortunately, events show up on the wrong day because I live in Australia. If a place had a time zone, then all events in that place would inherit the time zone.
Or, one should be able to set their timezone in their user profile. Then, the timezone should be the median of the users who are going to the event. I.e., if I’m the only one going, it could assume it’s in my time zone.
